Our plant and production site is situated very next to the bay of Mediterranean lake in Torbali about 50 km from the Port of Izmir which is a very strategic location, a key port of Turkey and the whole Aegean Region.
The new production plant was opened to meet with the demands of the ever growing olive oil market; the plant is one of the most modern production sites in whole Mediterranean region with underground air conditioned facilities of stainless steel storage tanks. These stainless steel, chromium nickel storage tanks were specially produced for Verde AS.
The production and bottling lines as well as the storage tanks are nitrogen flushed to remove oxygen from exposure to the oil. The results are fresh, high quality oils that retain their aroma, taste and healthful properties until the day that bottles or containers are opened for consumption.
The factory has an olive crushing capacity of more than 220 tons per day, Refining capacity of 150 tons per day, filling capacity 300 tons per day with various types of automatic filling machines and Storage capacity at site is 8000 tons…. And a huge pallet spaces in the automated warehouse.
The site was created to have complete control of the production phases and guarantee extremely high quality, the full respect of safety and the environment. Each step in the production phase, which runs 365 days a year, 24 hours a day: selection, tasting, blending, filtering, refining and bottling of olive oils everything takes place under one roof. |
